Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians, I am pleased to invite you to our Annual Scientific Assembly, taking place October 2–3, 2026, in Lexington.

We are excited to offer an outstanding educational program featuring approximately 16 hours of CME with distinguished speakers delivering the latest evidence-based updates and guideline changes relevant to primary care. We are especially honored to welcome a very special guest, Sarah Nosal, MD, current President of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

In addition to our educational sessions, we will have our annual KSA Workshop, as well as the All-Member Meeting Luncheon featuring the installation of new officers as we celebrate another year of leadership and service within our organization.

And because great meetings should include a little fun too… we are excited to offer something brand new this year— an afternoon of racing at Keeneland!

Registration opens August 18, and tickets for Keeneland will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are looking forward to gathering together for what promises to be an engaging, educational, and memorable event. On behalf of the KAFP, we cannot wait to welcome you this October.  Mark your calendars now — you won’t want to miss it!
