ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND ACTIVITIES

Since the inception of the KAFP Foundation in October 1991 we have had an opportunity to support a number of programs which enabled medical students and residents to be closely associated with both the KAFP and the AAFP.

Fund raisers to support the foundation programs:

UK Family Medicine Review Course
UofL Primary Care Review Course

Projects sponsored by the foundation were:

Cosponsorship of a resident to the Conference on Patient Education
Support of Student to WONCA
Support of AAFP Resident Repayment Program
Anthem Partners in Family Medicine Program
Support of Primary Care Day
Support of Community Projects
Sponsorship of FMIG Clubs
Support for students to attend the National Conference of Residents and Students in Kansas City, MO

Foundation Support

Partial payment of student dues
Research Committee (KAN) assistance
